NiSource Charitable Foundation
The NiSource Charitable Foundation strives to enhance the quality of life in company communities through community partnerships with nonprofit organizations in Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia. Grants are provided in the following categories: Community Vitality and Development, Environmental and Energy Sustainability, Learning and Science Education, and Public Safety and Human Services. Grants generally range from $5,000 to $50,000. For the upcoming grant cycle, applications must be received by September 1, 2009.
